Man in Ogun state jailed for three years for impersonation

He was sentenced to three years in prison without the option of fine

Olaniyi Oni, a 38-year-old man, has been sentenced to three years in prison on the charge of impersonating in a matrimonial suit.

The accused was sentenced by Chief magistrate Mr O.I.Oke at a magistrate court situated in Otta, Ogun state, without an option of fine, even though the accused later pleaded guilty to the offense.

The prosecutor, Inspector G.O. Adebayo has earlier informed the court that the criminated Olaniyi committed the atrocious offense on Feb.4, 2020.
