President Muhammadu Buhari has once again renewed his administration pledge to remain unrelenting in combating the Boko Haram insurgency and other forms of crimes that have gotten the country devastated.
Speaking on Thursday at the induction and commissioning ceremony of newly acquired NAF MI-171E helicopter and two reactivated Alpha Jets and one L39ZA aircraft, all belonging to the Nigerian Air Force, the president said
The President further proclaimed, according to a report published by Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to the President (Media & Publicity), that his administration has recently increased the ability of the Nigerian Air Force by 23 brand new aircraft, with more still on the way.

Buhari stressed that these are alongside help to reactivate more than 25 previously unusable aircraft to dramatically increase the Service’s ability to provide robust air power to support our counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency efforts.
